It is also not recommended for use in patients with/had a history of an ulcer in stomach/intestines, bleeding in stomach/intestines, blood circulation problems (such as peripheral arterial disease), red itchy welts, inflammatory disease of the intestines (such as ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s disease).
The medicine is also not indicted for use in patients suffering from lung problems (such as asthma), heart diseases (such as heart failure, recent heart attack, heart block), severe liver disease (such as advanced hepatic insufficiency) and/or kidney disease (such as advanced renal insufficiency).
Before taking CELEBREX 200MG CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, raised blood pressure, increased cholesterol, signs of fluid retention (such as swollen ankles and feet) and/or hyperkalemia (increased potassium level in blood).

The dose and how often you take Celebrex depends on factors such as the age of the patient who’s taking the medication. For example, a patient who’s being treated for an enlarged prostate or high blood pressure would usually take a daily dose of Celebrex 20 mg. Once a patient is older than age 65, the dose of Celebrex can be adjusted based on the patient’s age. This helps to treat enlarged prostate and high blood pressure symptoms. A younger patient is usually not being treated for prostate problems but for high blood pressure symptoms. To help your patient’s age, you’ll typically start with a low dose of Celebrex. Take Celebrex as prescribed, daily, for a limited time, or up to 6 months. Your doctor will decide the dose for you, depending on how your patient’s body responds to the medication.
